Although the Fish and Chip Shop Detective agency officially comprises of two detectives – Maggie and Ryan – anyone who’s read the first two books in the series will know that they wouldn’t far, if it wasn’t for their friend, Harry.
Book 3 – The Fish and Chip Shop Detectives and a Mystery at Sea – comes out on 3rd September. In the third adventure, Harry is as helpful as ever. This time, he is helping Ryan on an active investigation in Penzance, rather than just assisting from the safe comfort of his armchair at home or the local library.

Harry is in his early 80’s.
He has lived on The Wharf in Mousehole all of his life.
After years in the services, Harry became an accountant. He now helps Maggie and Ryan with the accounts for the chippy.
Harry is a regular at Robbins’ Fish and Chip Shop. He buys his supper from them at least twice a week – and always on a Wednesday evening.

Harry is secretly very good with modern technology – something that is going to come in very useful when he works with his detective friends.
Harry’s nickname is ‘Sudoku Harry’ as he loves doing number puzzles.
Harry and Ryan become friends very quickly after they meet. Harry confesses to Maggie, that he’d love to have a grandson like Ryan.
