As they establish their new venture as private detectives, while also running Robbins’ Fish and Chip Shop, Maggie and Ryan embark upon a quest to find teenager, Mitch Ashley – a young man who loves to sit at the local harbour and watch the boats go by.
However, this isn’t their only case. Ryan – with the help of his friend Harry (a spritely pensioner who dreams of being James Bond) – is keeping a careful eye on a man called Tony Prentice; trying to find out if he’s gambling away his wife’s life savings.
Then, when a murder case drops into Maggie’s lap (almost literally) – the pressure is on; sending her to St Michael’s Mount and Ryan to the Penryn university campus at Falmouth.
